Dynamo is a team of designers, developers & UX specialists.

We design sites that build brands, web applications that save money, and mobile apps that attract new customers.

We are designers, developers, UX specialists, account directors, dog-lovers, foosball stars, amateur baristas...

Bryan

Bryan Mahoney

Partner & Developer

Bio

With 15 years of web development under his belt, Bryan is always pretty evenly split between client facing tasks and writing code. He does it all, from business development, project planning and consulting, to writing code for Dynamo’s various applications. Forever the entrepreneur, Bryan loves working with startups to help them realize their goals just as much as he loves his Dynamo projects. Bryan keeps the studio buzzing with his contagious energy, positive outlook, and supreme wine buying abilities.

Alix

Alix Graham-Tremblay

Project Manager

Bio

Lucky for us, after a long stint as assistant coordinator in the film industry, Alix made the crossover to project manager here at Dynamo. If you need someone to oversee every detail of a project, estimate costs, establish timelines and milestones, manage team members, create statistical reports, or bake you apple pie muffins from scratch, Alix is your gal.

Best way to start the day at the office:
Successfully making a good latte

First job:
Grocery store cashier

Daniel

Daniel Wright

Developer

Bio

With 13 years of professional experience in development, Daniel’s expertise now covers a lot of ground. He specializes in front-end UI/ UX matters, but can be let loose on a back-end project with low risk. He’s even dabbled in HTML/CSS/JS, and is always working to improve his craft and expand his role. However, it’s been said that one of his most significant roles at Dynamo is actually his job as office barista. This web guru makes one mean latté.

Foosball nicknames:
Opponents are too scared of his skills (or of his temper?) to give him individual nicknames but he has forged many unstoppable teams including the Huguetoes (with Corey) and the Invincibles (with Magda).

Jenna

Jenna Holcombe

Senior Designer / Art Director

Bio

Jenna is a graphic designer and art director with over seven years of experience in print, digital, brand strategy, retail, packaging, advertising and copywriting. She specializes in branding and loves the chance to work with a company from the ground up to shape each aspect of the brand experience. She'll swear to you she's not a 'design nerd' but we know the truth. Four years ago, she was hanging out in South Philadelphia when everything went black. She woke up in Montréal with a new hairdo and a zest for French lemonade.

Life Mantra:

Alex

Alex Nemeroff

Partner & Interactive Director

Bio

Alex has over 12 years of experience in the industry and is responsible for guiding some of our biggest clients to success over these years. He’s funnelled his vast knowledge bank into specializing in User Experience, User Flow and Digital Design. Behind his lumberjack beard lies a razor sharp wit and a keen eye for detail. This winning combination plays a vital role in the development and growth of each campaign and project that comes through the studio. When he's not scrupulously reenacting SNL skits, Alex is preoccupied with keeping the studio at the forefront of an industry travelling at light speed.

Nothing beats doing great work with close friends who blow your mind.

Rodrigo

Rodrigo Dalcin

Front End Developer

Bio

Rodrigo’s endless enthusiasm and hard work have propelled him quickly in the field of web development, despite his relative newness to the scene. We’re proud to say that he’s already been a huge player at Dynamo with a heavy hand in some of our first responsive websites including this one. He specializes in layout integration, coding (HTML, CSS, JS/JQuery) and responsive web development. Upon arrival at Dynamo, he quickly took over as resident DJ and overall music evangelist. And we’re happy to report that he’s finally abandoned his illegal foosball moves.

What's the best thing about working at Dynamo?
Being surrounded by a team of awesome individuals.

Foosball nickname:

Life mantra:
Always be passionate about what you do.

Magda

Magdalena Wielopolski

Senior Designer

Bio

Magdalena started her career in the publishing industry in London, UK and after moving to Montreal in 2011 she made the cross over to the digital world. She now specializes in branding, identity and layout design and thoroughly enjoys the challenges of logo and typography design. She's highly involved in all aspects of the design process from conception to execution. This tall drink of Australia enjoys hiding office stationary in high places. And if she's not quoting High Fidelity she's likely to be found busting out the 'Elaine dance'.

Nicholas

Nicholas Henry

Developer

Bio

With a whopping 17 years experience as a software practitioner, Nicholas' breadth of knowledge is a huge asset at Dynamo. Nicholas' main role is in developing database-backed web applications in a variety of horizontal domains including e-commerce and content management using the Ruby on Rails framework. He especially enjoys modelling complex domains, loves empowering individuals to improve their craft and teams to work productively. One part Red Beard, three parts shandy and a whole lot of plaid, Nicholas can type code with his eyes closed, upside down, while drinking tea.

Foosball nickname:
Red Beard One.

Corey

Corey Pomkoski

Project Manager

Bio

Today, Corey is our resident Project Manager, though over the past six years he’s worn many hats here at Dynamo including account manager, team supervisor, and director of human resources. We trust Corey to have the answers to all of our pressing questions (i.e. where's the milk?) with a phone in one hand and his fourth coffee in the other. When he's not busy entertaining us with his one one man synchronized swimming routine, he can be found obsessively tracking the snowfall on Jay Peak.

Best thing about working at Dynamo:
The room here to grow, while staying true to yourself is second-to-none. I wouldn't change the past 6 years for anything.

Foosball Nickname:
Red Beard One

Life mantra:
The ability to make oneself laugh should never be overlooked.

Boris

Guillaume Bourrousse

Front End Developer/Project Manager

Bio

Guillaume “Boris” is our Front End Developer from across the Atlantic. With four years experience in Front End integration, Rails and Wordpress programming and Emails, he is an integral part of the Dynamo team. After two years of battling the Montreal winters, Guillaume decided to go back to the baguette-filled shores of southern France. Fortunately for us he still graces us with his virtual presence and dreams up appropriate pranks to play on Corey.
